Mark DiCamillo, Director of the Field (California) Poll
Mark DiCamillo is the Director of the Field Poll, also known as the California Poll, which is considered by many to be the definitive predictor of California elections results.
Yesterday, he released Field Poll #2139, which showed "Stem cell bonds initiative leading by a narrow margin."
This morning, Mr. DiCamillo spoke with California Politics Today in detail about the findings in his organization's latest survey and analysis of "likely voter" opinion regarding Proposition 71, the controversial measure to fund embryonic stem cell research in California using $3 billion to be raised with general revenue bonds under an arrangement that will cost state taxpayers $6 billion.
