WiFi & Beyond Chair Morley Winograd e-mails a copy of "Fast & Easy: the Future of WiFi & Beyond in the City of Los Angeles" to Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn using WiFi at Pershing Square

A former senior advisor to former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Morley Winograd is the Executive Director of the Center for Telecom Management at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

In October, 2004, he was appointed by Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn to serve as Executive Director of the Los Angeles WiFi & Beyond Executive Panel, charged with developing a "vision statement" for the unwiring of the City of Los Angeles.

Mr. Winograd talked about the work of that panel in a November 17, 2004, interview on Etopia Media's Unwired LA web site.

Today, that panel unveiled its long-awaited report about unwiring LA, entitled: "Fast & Easy: the Future of WiFi & Beyond in the City of Los Angeles," at an event in Pershing Square, Los Angeles.

Later in the day, Morley Winograd talked about that report at length and in detail with California Politics Today.
