California Nurses Association issues press release praising the Election Committee's action
According to a
press release issued this afternoon by the
California Nurses Association (CNA), which strongly supported the measure:
"Voting for the bill today were Assembly members Johan Klehs (D-Hayward), Betty Karnette (D-Long Beach), Mark Leno (D-SF), and Lloyd Levine (D-Van Nuys). Voting no were Tom Umberg (D-Anaheim), Mark Wyland (R-Vista), and Michael Villines (R-Clovis)."
