another interview with Nancy Skinner, U.S. Director, the Climate Group

As reported previously on Etopia News 's California Politics Today, in an August 14, 2006, article entitled "The Climate Group's U.S. Director, Nancy Skinner, talks about its plans to stave off global warming by reducing carbon emissions, and by other means," the Climate Group is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the Earth and its inhabitants against the effects of global warming through business-government cooperation to reduce the emission of harmful greenhouse gases.

The Climate Group was instrumental in the efforts that culminated yesterday in the passage of AB32, the "California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006."

California Politics Today spoke again today with Nancy Skinner at the Climate Group about AB32, its origins, operating principles, and likely impact in slowing global climate change caused by the emission of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane.
